Why are their two kinds of discs?Gliding discs are premium sliders designed for maximum performance. In order to maximize performance on various flooring types, Gliding Discs are manufactured in two styles. They are designed to slide smoothly, but also provide just the right amount of sliding resistance for a great workout. They work exceptionally well and enhance your exercises. They are incredibly durable and stand up to daily use in gyms. CARPET DISCS: hard solid nylon plastic discs designed for carpet and area rugs HARDWOOD DISCS: flexible foam discs covered in durable tight weave Nylon fabric, for hardwood, laminate, tile, linoleum, vinyl plank, and polished concrete floors.

How large are the discs?Unlike many cheap two sided sliding discs, which are often only 7 inches wide, our premium Gliding discs are 9 inches in diameter. This allows you to comfortably place your hand or foot on the disc for a more comfortable and effective exercise. They are still small and light enough to take them with you, and they are easy to store.

Why are Gliding Discs effective?Gliding discs enhance traditional exercises by allowing for continuous muscle engagement and providing a greater range of motion. For example, in a traditional lunge, the muscle engagement is concentrated when your foot lands, and again when you push off. By incorporating Gliding discs, your muscles activate throughout the entire movement of the lunge, providing a more effective workout. By reducing friction, Gliding discs also allow for a greater range of motion in many exercises, so you get enhanced movement.
